I found a good western restaurant in Kyoto! Grilled French” is too delicious!
This restaurant is a well-known restaurant that does not appear in magazines or the media.
The restaurant is always packed by word of mouth and regular customers from the local Kyoto area.
The restaurant was packed from lunch today, even though it was mid-afternoon when the typhoon hit and the rain was pouring down and there were hardly any people in the city!
So now the restaurant is so popular that reservations are hard to come by.
Grill French, located on Ogawa Dori Oike near Nijo Castle, is in a residential area and buildings so hard to find that it is easy to pass by if you don’t know where it is.
Today we enjoyed our favorite fried menchikatsu and fried shrimp as main course, appetizers, cold soup, etc.
Owner-chef Fujii and his second-generation son run the restaurant, and the food is really messed up!
Although it is forbidden to take pictures inside the restaurant except for the food, we were seated at the counter and were already enjoying the live atmosphere as the food was fried, cut, served, and grilled right in front of our eyes!
I highly recommend that you make a reservation before going out.
This is a recommended western-style restaurant in Kyoto.
