Gion Rohan” Easy Japanese kappo restaurant in Gion, Kyoto
Saba Sando” has become famous.
However, the restaurant’s commitment to rice has been consistent since its opening.
Since replacing Chef Omura Taiki, who trained at “Kikunoi,” the restaurant has changed its style to an a la carte-centered kappo (Japanese-style restaurant).
However, the basics are firmly orthodox, with a flexible playful spirit.
Such a la carte dishes…
The location in Gion is just right, so I think it will be useful to know this restaurant when you have a “short errand”.
The grilled eel, deep-fried firefly squid, and simmered sea bream all go great with sake!
I found a cosy and highly recommended restaurant and will revisit again.
Thank you! I’ll be back!
