No less than the Golf Masters! Come and watch the “Open the Door to the World” European DP Tour!
Last year, the event was held at PGM Ishioka Golf Club (Ibaraki Prefecture), and this year, the second edition will be held at the Pacific C Gotemba Course (Shizuoka Prefecture) from April 25 to 28.
Even if golf lovers cannot make it to the Masters Tournament at Augusta GC in Georgia, U.S.A., I would like to encourage them to come and watch the tournament in Shizuoka, Japan.
Although Japanese players have not been able to stand up to top-level overseas players, Rikuya Hoshino and Keita Nakajima, both of whom won one tournament on the European Tour this season, will be competing.
Masahiro Kawamura, a member of the European Tour, will be playing in Japan for the first time in a year since last year’s tournament.
Rintaro Nakano (Waseda University), who finished 4th in the season-opening “Token Home Mate Cup”, will also play as an invited player, so this tournament will be a stage that “opens the door to the world” for young and promising players.
The total prize money of approximately 320 million yen and the first place prize of 55 million yen are the highest in Japan, making this a dream stage.
Fuji, you will also be able to enjoy world-class technical and mental skills, a robot dinosaur corner of Japanese culture, a haunted house, all-you-can-eat ice cream, concerts, 1,000 fireworks, a kids’ corner, a bake sale corner, and much more!
The event is especially exciting with a concert by soprano Katherine Jenkins on Saturday the 24th and famous American singer Vanessa William on Sunday the 25th, the last day of the event, along with 1,000 fireworks, which you can see for free if you go as a gallery member.
Even beginners who have never played golf before can enjoy the event as a gallery.
The event will be broadcast live on TV, but if you can, you will be able to see the real entertainment and sporting action unfold here.
Please come and see it!
